The 'Distinguished Entrepreneur Award' Recipient was Angie Topp.  Angie and her husband Gregg have 3 children:  Aaron, Casey & Anna.

Angie is a 1983 NBHS graduate, she has lived in New Bremen most of her life.  She is an active church member, advocate of special needs and owner of The Cornerstone Shop.

The retail business had started in 1977 on the front porch of Ruth Meckstroth (pronounced Meckstrow).  Ruth & her daughter Judy ran the business until Angie purchased in 1997.  The Cornerstone Shop has served the New Bremen community for 40 years, with the last 20 of those years under Angie’s ownership.

In 2015, Angie saw the opportunity and need to expand her business from a Christian book and music store to include gifts and home décor.  In 2016 that expansion took place, with the addition of the ‘Cardinal Corner’.

In appreciation for Angie’s entrepreneurial spirit and ability accomplish it to excellence, the New Bremen Community Improvement Corporation is pleased to present this year’s Entrepreneur Award to Angie Topp.
