The Village of New Bremen acknowledges that it maintains many records that are used in the administration and operation of the Village. The records maintained and the ability to access them are a means to provide trust between the public and the Village of New Bremen. The records are maintained in a manner which allows the Village to provide the general public prompt inspection of the public records, and copies of these records within a reasonable amount of time during regular business hours from 8:00 a.m to 4:30 p.m.
The Village has a public records policy and a Schedule of Records Retention (RC-2). If you can not find either of these documents, please consult with the Village Fiscal Officer's Office at 419-629-2447 and a copy will be provided.
The written request for public records, disclosure of identity or the intended use of the request would benefit the requester by enhancing the Village of New Bremen's ability to identify, locate and deliver the requested information. The Village must disclose that a written request is not mandatory and the requesting person may decline to disclose their identity and/or their intended use for such information.
All photocopies are made at $.10 per copy payable before gaining possession of requested documents. Any incurred costs for items other than photocopies will be charged at cost."
