Better Lives--Better Ohio

Jennifer Brunner, Ohio Secretary of State, has developed a Website, Better Lives-Better Ohio to help Ohioans easily locate information about schools, health and economic and other topics that contribute to the "social health index' of Ohio.

The Website puts yearly data or the state and individual counties for more than 300 indicators of things that affect everyday living in Ohio.  The date is groped into seven areas of interest: families, public safety, government/civic, health, education, natural resources and economy.  Advanced users can download the data from the site to an electronic spreadsheet for use in other applications.

To access from the home page of the Secretary of State's Website, use the web address http://www.sos.state.oh.us/  and use the Better Lives Better Ohio link found on the left side of the home page.
